The Previous System

The previous roof was leaking, it had come to the end of its life and was causing water ingress into the property below.

The Solution

We hacked up the existing roof coverings and cleared from site. We laid new ply decking to take the new Sika Coatings. We then cleaned, primed and laid Sikalastic 625 on the roof. We used liquid coatings as they are completely seamless and when prepared and applied to the product’s instructions they are guaranteed to waterproof, protect and enhance most flat or pitched roofs. We supplied and laid a timber framework to take the new decking. The timber framework was set on 10mm support pads to allow water flow underneath. We then laid new timber decking fixed to the framework.
