The Previous System
It was originally an asphalt roof. We had carried out repairs in 2015 to try and prolong the life of the roof, it lasted a few more years and then was renewed with Sika Liquid Plastic’s.
The Problem
The asphalt roof was cracking and splitting and causing water ingress.
The Solution
We cleaned, primed and laid Sikalastic 625 on the roof. We used liquid coatings as they are completely seamless and when prepared and applied to the product’s instructions they are guaranteed to waterproof, protect and enhance most flat or pitched roofs.
